Yogen Früz Pinkberry Brain Project – Call for Entries 2019

http://www.brainproject.ca/create-a-brain/

The Yogen Früz Pinkberry Brain Project is the Toronto art installation that took the city by storm in the summers of 2016, 2017 and 2018. Brain sculptures designed by a diverse group of artists were placed on display in high-traffic areas such as Nathan Phillips Square and the Distillery District.

Now, we’re getting ready to begin creating for 2019. We want to know what’s in your brain! In the summer of 2019 we will be beautifying our streetscapes by placing another set of unique sculptures on display, and we’re calling all artists to submit their concepts for consideration.

Mindful Project is organizing its 3rd Annual exhibition: Roots|Routes

In an effort to end stigma and promote progressive, positive conversations around mental health and wellness, the Mindful Project is organizing its 3rd Annual exhibition: Roots|Routes. The exhibition also recognizes Canadian Mental Health Association’s Mental Health Week (May 6-12) and the National Youth Week.
Artists and makers are invited to articulate their roots or routes in relation to mental health and wellness through visual arts. Your roots are personal to your past and self-identity. Your roots can lead you to follow certain routes or charter new ones along your personal journey. Your experiences along these routes are important because they transform you and affect your mental well-being. Submissions will be juried and selected artworks will be exhibited to spark positive conversations and ignite change in social attitudes.

The exhibition will be held at the Newmarket Old Town Hall in Newmarket Ontario
