Jennifer Lawton Show – Inside My World: Large and Small

A message from Jennifer Lawton:

Hello, friends!

I am surfacing after a 6 month health issue, that has been long and arduous, but has also provided me with creative fodder for my upcoming show: “INSIDE MY WORLD: LARGE AND SMALL” at the Double Door Gallery, in Anten Mills, just north of Barrie, Ontario. The opening celebration will be from 6 – 9 pm, Friday, September 6th. Weekend hours are 12 – 4 pm. I will not be at the gallery on Saturday, Sept. 7th (family wedding), but should be there every other day the show is open.

My home studio will also be open on the Thanksgiving Weekend, from 11 am to 4 pm., Saturday October 12 – Monday October 14. Look for the red and white “Open Studio” road signs near 5253 Vasey Rd., Midland, ON  L4R 4K3.

Please email or phone me with any comments or questions you may have.

Cheers!  I hope to see you at the show and/or Open House.

Message from New OSA Member Ted Michener

A message from new OSA Member, Ted Michener:

Glad I could make it to the “New Members” ceremony at the Arts and Letters Club. There was a slight glitch when my name wasn’t called for the handing out of certificates or the group photo, but I assumed it was only because the cameraman cherished his lens too much to have me in the shot. However, It all worked out well in the end. Hey, even the buffet was dandy!

Bianka Guna Exhibition “Kinetic Matter: Tondi”

A final exhibition by OSA member Bianka Guna:

As I will soon be moving to the west coast, beautiful Victoria BC, to be with my family, I am inviting  you and you art loving friends, to my last solo art exhibition in The Distillery District Toronto.

The new art exhibition, “Kinetic Matter: Tondi” , will hung for the whole month of June 2019 , between June 5th to July 2nd 2019 at Balzac’s Upstairs Gallery. This is a new body of acrylic artworks, painted on round wood panels, tondi, that I have created the whole winter and spring.

OSA Member Exhibition: Diana Harding-Tucker: The Natural Earth

Exhibition Invitation

I’m pleased to invite you to my upcoming exhibition opening, “The Natural Earth” on Sunday July 28, from 2-4 pm. The exhibition will be on display through to September 8, 2019 at The Gibson Centre, 63 Tupper Street West, Alliston, ON L9R 1E4

The Natural Earth – Opus I: Water is a celebration of water as the major tool in the shaping of life. Water contributes to the mechanical removal of soft and broken rocks and the scouring of ever deeper and wider lakes and rivers by glaciers. Plants and animal depend on clean, nourishing water for their livelihood. This exhibition also focuses on Water’s gift to the imagination through the play of light, shadow and reflection upon its surface – a gift that has inspired such artists as the painter Monet, and the pianist and composer, Claude Debussy.

The exhibition is open:
Tuesday to Saturday: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm
Sunday and Monday: closed
More information can also be found online at
Hope you can make it!
