A final exhibition by OSA member Bianka Guna:
As I will soon be moving to the west coast, beautiful Victoria BC, to be with my family, I am inviting you and you art loving friends, to my last solo art exhibition in The Distillery District Toronto.
The new art exhibition, “Kinetic Matter: Tondi” , will hung for the whole month of June 2019 , between June 5th to July 2nd 2019 at Balzac’s Upstairs Gallery. This is a new body of acrylic artworks, painted on round wood panels, tondi, that I have created the whole winter and spring.
My wonderful friends and colleagues, the move it has been a very difficult decision, after more than twenty years spent in one of the most wonderful cities in the world, Toronto. My time here stands as the highlight of my working art career, and I am grateful that I had the immense honour of being here working and knowing you.
Life is a series of hellos and goodbyes, but this is a bittersweet moment. I truly loved being here in town and having my art studio in the distillery district for the past eight years, and it has been a tremendous experience to be sharing my love for art with all of you. If you are passing by Victoria, BC Canada reach out, firstname.lastname@example.org , I would love to catch up!
In the unforgettable words of Winnie the Pooh: “How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.”
If you want to come see the show, and say good bye, I will be in attendance at the gallery on Saturday June 15th in the afternoon 2-4pm.
